| Dr. Dennis Bellehumeur, the Company’s Founder, developed a patented system that combines existing technology in a unique application intended to eliminate drunk driving. The system was developed as a superior alternative to existing devices, specifically the “breathalyzer” technologies that are intended to curb drunk driving (only after someone has been convicted of a drunk driving offense). The new system will prevent an impaired driver from ever starting a car, thus eliminating drunk driving before it begins. |

To
develop and market passive ignition interlock
systems for motor vehicles to detect the
presence of alcohol in a driver through
transdermal sensors integrated into the
vehicle’s steering wheel. Subsequently, the
interlock will ensure that people are not able
to drive a motor vehicle while intoxicated;
thus, eliminating drunk driving.
|
| As illustrated below, The system has two primary components: 1) a transdermal sensor embedded in a vehicle’s steering wheel that monitors the driver for temperature and ethanol levels (blood alcohol concentration equivalent) via transdermal measurement and 2) the ignition interlock device that will prevent a car from starting, or take other predetermined action with regard to the operation of the vehicle. |
